Experienced Supply Chain and Finance professional needed for a SME focused on sustainability and responsibility. As Supply Chain and Finance Manager, you’ll report to the MD for a busy Food manufacturing business supplying a range of products across UK Foodservice. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the company’s finances and lead planning and purchasing across the supply chain, with full ownership of systems and reporting to support building a successful food brand. You will be part of a small team creating quality products from traditional recipes using authentic ingredients.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing finance functions such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, payroll, and reporting;
- Ensuring legal, HR, and IT systems are compliant;
- Leading supply chain operations, procurement, stock control, logistics, demand planning;
- Driving performance through KPI tracking, cost analysis, and system improvements.
Qualifications required:
- A broad finance background with understanding of Supply Chain/Operations in Food Manufacturing;
- Experience with monthly accounts, forecasts, and KPI dashboards;
- Knowledge of purchasing, batch costing, and demand planning;
- Experience with stock systems and manufacturing workflows;
- Strong understanding of inventory and ERP systems;
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
