Sector: Technology/Manufacturing Company within the Film Industry. FilmLight is the worldβs leading developer of colour management & colour grading technologies for film and TV. We are seeking an enthusiastic, vigilant and hardworking individual to join the Finance department. They will be responsible for the running of the purchase ledger and assisting the sales ledger.
- Recording and processing supplier invoices
- Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing and processing payments (e.g., BACS, cheques)
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Posting bank transactions
- Reconciling GBP, USD, CNY and Euro accounts
- Raising and issuing sales invoices
- Allocating payments received to customer accounts
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding debts (credit control)
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Responding to customer queries related to invoices and payments
- Preparing monthly statements for customers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
