Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify and resolve inefficiencies in financial processes through automation and system upgrades. Lead system enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce manual input. Optimise data flows for improved reporting and compliance. Collaborate with Finance Systems & Change and IT teams on tool integration.
- First-Line System Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for system-related queries. Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed. Manage user access and maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls. Deliver training and guidance on system use and best practices. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Continuously assess system performance against business needs and compliance. Support system upgrades with minimal disruption. Work with stakeholders to assess and implement changes. Build and maintain system audit trails and process documentation.
Qualifications
- Part/fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel and Word skills.
- SunSystems and Q&A experience.
- Strong problem-solving and first-line support capabilities.
- Experience in financial automation and systems improvement.
- Familiarity with system integration and upgrades.
