Job Description

My client is an Age Top 50+50 firm of Accountants based in the South West, with over 300 team members across 16 offices.\\n\\nThey are now looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to join their growing, close-knit and high-achieving Corporate Finance team. Working closely with highly experienced individuals, you will have the opportunity to assist, progress and develop whilst working on a range of corporate finance transactions.\\n\\nMain Duties:\\n\\n• Help manage business sales, business acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, mergers, disposals\\n• Undertake company valuation work using multiples analysis and other recognised methods\\n• Manage Financial due diligence including report writing and reviewing team members’ drafting\\n• Liaising with clients, in house specialists and other professionals to ensure smooth project management of transactions\\n• Managing deal databases and drafting key engagement documentation\\n• Play a leading role in business development, including attending networking events, new client pitches and assisting with deal origination\\n• Show vision and a strategic perspective and focus on the achievement of longer-term goals.\\n• Liaising with other services lines to ensure clients have the optimal Westcotts service experience\\n• Managing the delivery of the project alongside the directors and partners\\n• This job description summarises the main duties and responsibilities of the post, however the list is not exhaustive as the post-holder may be required to undertake other duties and projects of similar level and responsibility.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n• ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification\\n• Relevant Corporate Finance experience within the SME space\\n• Strong commercial and financial awareness\\n• An aptitude for and desire to be actively involved with business development\\n• Ability to express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and written communication\\n• Strong research skills\\n• Strong attention to detail and be focussed on delivering high quality work and analysis\\n• Evaluative, professional and with the ability to work effectively as a part of a small team\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n• 36.25 hours/ 5 days per week (flexible and hybrid working is available)\\n• Annual salary review\\n• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\\n• Death in service 3 x annual salary\\n• Access to Westfield Rewards and Health scheme\\n• 24-hour external Employee Assistance Programme helpline\\n• Flexible benefits including Buy and Sell holiday, Cycle to Work, Payroll Charity Giving and Private Medical Insurance\\n• Introducing clients and staff commission schemes\\n• Pension 3% rising to 4% (but matched up to 6%) after 4 years’ service\\n\\nShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.\\n\\nPlease Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
