Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Key Stage 1 and 2 primary teacher to work at a school located in Peterborough. The role is working as a PPA cover teacher within KS1 and 2, for 3 days per week.

About the role

The desired teacher will be working in various KS1 and 2 classes, all with a wide range of ability levels. The successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons to the classes, but mainly the work is planned for you. This role is a maternity cover and would be 3 days a week for the academic year.

About the school

This post will be based within a small to medium-sized primary school in Peterborough and you will work in 6 different classes. This is a Good-rated school where pupils’ achievement and enjoyment of learning are outstanding. In lessons, pupils concentrate exceptionally well, listen carefully to the teacher and to one another and are confident and motivated learners. It is a very well regarded school.

Requirements

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 and 2 level
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary

£160 to £200 per day. Role is not paid to scale but on an enhanced supply rate as there is a small aspect of planning. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS and experience of teaching in a primary setting.
