Service Manager – Commercial Vehicle Dealer A leading DAF Flagship Dealership in Preston seeks a highly motivated Service Manager to oversee their busy and reputable service department. The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of success in service management within the commercial vehicle sector, coupled with strong leadership abilities to guide a team towards exceptional customer service and financial goals. Responsibilities include: Managingdepartmental performance, profit & loss and daily operations. Leading, mentoring and developing the service team ensuring high retention of skilled personnel. Planning and managing workforce resources to meet customers fleetdemands, and resolve operational issues efficiently. Ensuring adherence to all internal and external policies and procedures. Staying informed about manufacturers service updates and disseminating them promptly. Overseeing key accounts and maintaining long term loyalty. Driving business growth and continuous improvement initiatives. What we are looking for: Experience in a similarservice management role. Commercial vehicle industry experience; DAF knowledge is a plus. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively. A proactive, positive and collaborative approach. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
