Technical Sales Support Engineer (Electrical Bias)\\n\\nOffice based role in Milton Keynes\\n37.5 hours a week, 08:3016:45, Monday to Thursday and 08:3015:30, Friday\\nPermanent, full time \\n\\nThe Role\\nOur client are looking to recruit an individual with an electrical bias. Experience with serial interface, PLC’s or Electric drives would be advantageous. The role will be to provide support to customers and the sales force team for technical matters.
Commercial and market awareness of product. Supporting sales growth by training and proactive promotion of existing and new products.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nSupport for customer questions via phone and e-mail\\nProcess requests for special products and variations\\nAnalyse, check and report writing on customer product returns\\nNew product development proposal activity\\nMarket and competitor product analysis & understanding\\nSupporting sales force with customer visits and application development\\nProduct management including training, new product introduction and supersession of discontinued product ranges \\n\\nEssential Education, Skills and Experience:\\n\\nDegree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline \\nAble to communicate proficiently via telephone and email with both internal and external customers\\nA methodical problem solver who is logical, organised and able to keep clear comprehensive records \\nAbility to clearly and effectively present technical subjects, face-to-face and via webinar\\nExperience working within an Engineering environment\\nHands-on testing and diagnostic experience\\nExperience handling multiple projects with ability to prioritise, manage own time, and meet deadlines\\n\\nDesirable Experience:\\n\\nHands-on testing and diagnostic experience\\nAutomation systems or system design experience\\nPrevious experience or working within a Technical Sales Support or applications role \\n\\nWhat Our Client Offer:\\n\\nEvery team member has a voice, and this contributes to our successes as a company!
