Our Centre:
Guardian Childcare & Education Maidstone is located only 8km northwest of Melbourne CBD. The Centre offers high-quality care close to home and is ideal for families in bordering suburbs like Braybrook, Maribyrnong, Avondale Heights, and Footscray. It features resource-rich environments, including a ‘light and reflection’ room, community garden, pets, a worm farm, and compost system. There are three large outdoor spaces designed for each age group and an art piazza.
Your Opportunity:
- Lead the development and implementation of the curriculum.
- Support educators in delivering an exceptional educational program.
- Assess children’s learning and development.
- Set clear goals and expectations for teaching and practice.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan.
To be considered, you should have:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA) or a Diploma. Or significant programming experience and industry knowledge.
- Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
- Previous experience in the early years sector (desirable).
- Valid Working with Children’s Check or equivalent.
