THE ROLE – Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Nursery or Reception class in a Southwark primary school. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, with trial days available ASAP. You will be supporting children’s early development through engaging, play-based learning activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with phonics, early number work, supporting personal and social development, and helping to maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the EYFS Framework, strong communication skills, and the ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children and staff alike.
