Scout Recruiting is now looking to recruit a General Parts & Spares Coordinator for their client, located on the outskirts of Stamford. For this position you will be responsible for the management of all items received and dispatched to support ISO 9001; 2015 Quality Management System across the departments.

The primary responsibility of the Goods In role is to ensure that all goods are picked, booked, packed and shipped out on a daily basis, and to coordinate with the Manufacturing & Logistics departments to ensure goods being dispatched have the required documentation.

This is a permanent full time position Monday - Friday 07.30 – 16.30.

Salary is £28,000 plus excellent non salaried benefits and a salary review after passing your probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate all Manufacturing spares jobs using the Work orders / purchase orders issued by Manufacturing department.
  • Pick the goods ready for outsourcing or manufacturing to meet the relevant start date.
  • To produce and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Issue the parts from the Works Order on SAGE 200 daily.
  • Coordinate the packing of goods working with Logistics to ensure we have the correct sizes for wooden crates, pallet bases post final inspection.
  • Return to stock and parts not used and update the relevant works order.
  • Inspecting goods received, booking them in.
  • Support day to day activities if / when worked up on Aftermarket orders.
  • To support Stock take.
  • Unloading / loading items.
  • Keep Goods Inwards and Stores areas clean and tidy.
  • Keep staging area clearly marked with Job numbers.
