A highly respected international geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes. The Role:
You’ll play a key part in the design and assessment of geotechnical structures, with a focus on tailings dams and mine waste facilities. The role is office-based in Milton Keynes 3 days/week, with occasional short-term site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of geotechnical structures including tailings dams
- Slope stability, seepage, and settlement modelling
- Technical report writing and drawing preparation
- Coordination with clients and project stakeholders
- Supporting senior engineers in project delivery
Essential Requirements:
- MEng in Civil Engineering (minimum qualification)
- Strong academic and practical foundation in geotechnical engineering
- A clear interest in pursuing a long-term career in geotechnical design
- Current UK residency with right to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
