Senior Health & Safety Advisor\\nLocation: Derby Office – Hybrid working available\\nSalary: Up to £58,000 per annum\\nAdditional: Car allowance and full company benefits package\\nJob Type: Full-time – Permanent\\n\\nAre you an ambitious, proactive and results driven Senior Health & Safety Advisor with previous experience in utilities projects? Are you looking for a new opportunity and chance for personal and professional development?\\n\\nWe have an exciting new opportunity with our client, an integrated design and delivery solution provider within the water sector.\\n\\nThey are looking to further build the quality of their SHEQ team with an experienced Senior H&S Advisor working on one of their major infrastructure projects in the East Midlands region. \\n\\nThe successful candidate will fully embed themselves within the site management team, working closely with contractors and client to promote a safe working environment, reduce accidents and further build on the culture of health and safety excellence.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nProactively drive safety culture, engaging with contractors, subcontractors, and all key stakeholders.\\nMaintaining a dynamic and driven approach to supporting SHEQ across the company.\\nOversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, management systems and risk controls, which will help reduce risk and support a positive SHEQ culture.\\nWork closely with the project director, construction teams, contractors and external bodies to integrate health and safety into the project workflow.\\nOrganising audits and supporting the delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.\\nConducting accident/incident investigations and/or supporting investigations conducted by the Head of SHEQ.\\nHighlighting opportunity for sustainable solutions.\\nTrending and analysis of key performance data.\\nMaintenance of our externally certified management systems.About You\\n\\nAbility to identify trends in data and clearly articulate the issue or findings.\\nProven experience of working as part of a SHEQ team.\\nAbility to interpret legislation and approved codes of Practise.\\nGood organisational and time management skills.\\nStrong communicator who's comfortable engaging at all levels within the organisation as you will be advising the team at a senior level.\\nConfidence to make decisions whilst recognising when appropriate to escalate issues or concerns.\\nGood Microsoft Office skills especially Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.If you're a confident and experienced health and safety professional, ready to take on a fresh challenge and the next step in your career then please apply with an updated CV or contact Rich at Linsco for further information.\\n\\nLinsco is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
