Assistant Houseparent – Cambridge\\n\\nNurse Seekers is proud to be working on behalf of a leading independent college, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Houseparent to join their outstanding boarding team.\\n\\nThis residential role offers a rewarding opportunity to support the academic, emotional, and personal development of students in a caring, home-from-home environment. Working closely with the Senior Houseparent, you'll help maintain a high standard of pastoral care, safeguarding, and welfare within the boarding house.\\n\\nKey responsibilities include:\\n\\n·       Acting “in loco parentis” for students, ensuring their well-being and development\\n\\n·       Maintaining discipline, managing routines, and supporting students in daily life\\n\\n·       Keeping accurate records and liaising with relevant college staff\\n\\n·       Supporting evening and weekend duties as part of a shared rota\\n\\n·       Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in line with safeguarding policies\\n\\nThe ideal candidate will:\\n\\n·       Be empathetic, responsible, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills\\n\\n·       Have experience working with young people in a residential or pastoral care setting\\n\\n·       Understand safeguarding responsibilities (training provided)\\n\\n·       Be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and overnight as part of a rota\\n\\nThis is a fulfilling role within a well-established and supportive team, perfect for someone who is passionate about student welfare and creating a nurturing living environment.\\n\\nTo apply or find out more, contact Nurse Seekers on (phone number removed) or apply today
