If so, read on! \\n\\n We have an exciting new opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer who wants to progress into a CNC Supervisor or Machine Shop Manager.

Commutable from Mansfield, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham and Worksop. \\n\\n Role and Duties:\\n\\nCNC Programming, Setting and Operating on XYZ Milling and Turning\\nOnline and Offline Programming\\nWorking with Prototrak and Siemens \\nBuilding and supervising a machine shop team\\nRead engineering drawings and determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications\\nWorking on your own initiative, problem-solving as required and pointing out any drawing errors or discrepancies to allow us to liaise with the customer\\nAssist the relevant office personnel by providing estimated timings (set up and run), material requirements and any additional tooling / jigging required for the purposes of quoting\\nModify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts\\nOversee cutting process, adjust where necessary throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measure to eliminate errors\\nInspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation, including dimensional and surface measurements\\nPerform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, coolant, cleaning and tool replacement\\nAssist with work scheduling \\nEnsure correct hygiene standards are adhered to for own work and surrounding areas \\n Skills and Experience Required:\\n\\nExperience in CNC XYZ Machining (Milling essential) \\nCNC Programming and interpreting CNC software\\nExperience of working on ProtoTRAK or Siemens 828D Controls\\nIf you have experience with one of these controls, then training can be provided on the other\\nSupervisory experience or interested in progressing into this type of role\\nExperience of reading and working to drawings, including tolerances and dimensions\\nPro-active Communication with colleagues and customers to ensure excellent customer service\\nTeam working skills including communication, collaboration and conflict resolution\\nAttention to detail and natural curiosity to thoroughly investigate and problem solve\\nStrong IT skills\\n\\nBenefits Package\\n\\nSalary: Up to £45k per annum\\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\\nPension\\nProgression opportunities\\nTraining opportunities\\nDeath in Service\\nOnsite free parking \\nPPDEL
