This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive housing professional to support clients resettling in the UK, helping them secure and sustain accommodation, while preventing homelessness through effective advice and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert housing advice to clients on housing options and homelessness prevention.
  • Support UK resettlement efforts through face-to-face outreach work - minimum two days per week - based in hotels.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring each case is handled with empathy, compliance, and within legislative frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies, support networks, and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with GDPR and council policy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention, or a similar front-line service.
  • Sound knowledge of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills.
  • Comfortable with outreach work and working from hotel locations on-site.
  • Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
