The Operations Analyst will be responsible for:
- Receiving and checking incoming shipments for accuracy and within a timely manner.
- Sorting and placing items on to assigned racking and shelving.
- Picking, packing and processing orders for shipment and pick up according to assigned schedules.
- Shipping hardware to end user or destination, in compliance with Oracle Policies and Procedures.
- Processing return orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Organising inventory and handling a variety of daily operations inquiries and issues.
- Assisting the team with hardware devices configurations for laptops, network equipment, tokens, etc.
- Performing hardware setup and installation, delivering hardware to internal network sites, and participating in projects as dictated by the business need.
- Performing accurate cycle counting and inventory control within the agreed frequencies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Recording and reporting stock levels and discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborating with team members and management to meet operational goals.
- Identifying areas for process improvement, cost savings, and collaborating with associates to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.
- Communicating to the management team regularly about operational status and providing insights on performance trends as well as recommendations on how to exceed plan and accelerate productivity and growth.
- Performing transactions, maintaining accurate system data, analysing and creating operational reports, and data entry and system transactions using Oracle applications and providing daily status and reports to management.
Job Qualifications (skills/education):
- BA/BS degree, typically graduate or equivalent with 1-2 yearsβ experience.
- Knowledge of desktop support / PC repair and hardware configuration is a plus.
- Knowledge of Logistics and Hardware Distribution methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good computer and technical skills; quick to learn new tools applicable to the role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Exhibits strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and drive company vehicles.
