The predicted salary is between 20800 - 31200 £ per year.

The Multi-Skilled Tutor will be responsible for delivering a range of employability and skills-based qualifications within the Employability/Job Gym Department. The role involves planning and delivering engaging learning programmes, creating individual learning plans, assessing learner progress, and providing support throughout the learner journey.

You will deliver training at learning centres, employer or customer sites across the North West, and remotely, using both digital and traditional materials to support learners’ development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess qualifications in areas such as:
  • Securing Employment
  • Digital Skills
  • Customer Service
  • Mental Health & Wellbeing
  • Other courses relevant to your expertise
  • Create and manage individual learning plans and set learner targets.
  • Provide tailored Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to ensure learners are on suitable programmes.
  • Induct learners effectively into courses and online platforms.
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive sessions via both in-person and remote delivery methods.
  • Monitor and report on learner attendance, engagement, and progress.
  • Embed and promote Functional Skills where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with SFA, Ofsted, awarding bodies, and internal policies.
  • Promote and uphold Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, and British Values.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and meet KPIs.
  • Support curriculum development and contribute to new employability programme design.
  • Be flexible and prepared to travel across delivery sites in the North West.
  • Key Requirements

    Essential:

    • ICT, English & Maths at Level 2 or above
    • CTLLS (or equivalent Level 4 Teaching Qualification)
    • Experience working in education or training delivery
    • Industry experience relevant to the subject areas delivered

    Desirable:

    • Level 5 Teaching Qualification
    • TAQA / CAVA Assessor Qualifications
    • Level 3 or above in Information, Advice and Guidance
    • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding in education
