The Store Manager is responsible for the success of the store, including sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, induction, and training of staff in line with Subway standards; lead by example.
  • Create and manage staff schedules.
  • Check deliveries, match orders, and handle daily banking.
  • Prepare stock and sales paperwork; manage employee pay and timesheets.
  • Manage cash balances and minimize wastage.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Subway and local guidelines.
  • Conduct inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reports.
  • Analyze weekly sales and inventory reports to improve the business.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
  • Implement in-store marketing and point-of-purchase materials according to campaigns.
  • Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries.
  • Create a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Encourage high customer service standards among staff.
  • Handle unresolved or escalated customer complaints.
  • Deliver excellent service in products, sales, inquiries, and catering to customer needs.
