An Edinburgh Financial Services/FinTech organisation is currently looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis. Supporting a large/complex programme of work, the primary focus of the roles will involve managing & optimising their cloud infrastructure in AWS.

To be successful, previous knowledge & experience should include:

  • Previous & proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience within other FinTech / small-to-medium Financial Services organisations
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms & technologies, specifically AWS (Ideally including AWS DevOps Engineer certification)
  • Containerisation and Orchestration with K8s, EKS and Docker etc
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
  • Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to work as part of a project team and on own initiative
