Group Business Travel Manager - USA Market

We are working with a leading Travel Manager Company based in London who are looking for a Group Business Travel Manager to join their Travel & Events division, due to the successful growth of the business.\\n\\nThis is a varied role, as a Group Business Travel Manager you will be a key account Manager and main point of contact for US Clients, managing global travel logistics for groups of 10 – 1,000+ passengers.\\n\\nThe successful candidate must have a proven track record in booking group travel logistics and flexible to work shifts Monday – Friday between 15:00 – 23:30.\\n\\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\\n\\nAssist travellers with best-in-class personalised travel\\nAssisting travellers with any issues before, during, and after travel.\\nAssisting with basic cancellations, changes, and updates to hotel, flight, car, and/or rail bookings.\\nProvide accurate and detailed fare information for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings, as needed.\\nWork closely with client contacts to understand and meet program objectives/outcomes.\\nCreate group and individual reservations\\nNegotiate competitive fares with suppliers \\n\\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:\\n\\nProven experience in the travel industry\\nExperience booking and ticketing group travel\\nGDS experience is essential\\nExcellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares\\nCvent and/or understanding of event registration tools advantageous\\nExperience working in a high-pressured environment\\nStrong negotiation skills\\nExcellent geographical and airline schedule knowledge\\nThe ability to work on multiple events at the same time \\n\\nPACKAGE:\\n\\n£39,000 – £42,000 depending on experience\\nWorking shifts Monday – Friday between; 15:00 – 23:30\\nFully remote\\nAnnual company bonus (subject to company performance)\\n25 Days holiday per year plus your birthday off (plus UK BH)\\nPrivate medical insurance \\n\\nINTERESTED?\\n\\nTo apply for this position, Click 'apply' to submit your CV\\n\\nThis role is being managed by (url removed) / Tel: (phone number removed)\\n\\nPlease note that only candidates who meet the shortlisted requirements will be contacted
