This role focuses on the commissioning of Notifier (Honeywell) fire alarm systems across various transport-related environments such as stations and concourses, with a strong emphasis on night shift work.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Commissioning of fire alarm systems, primarily using Notifier (Honeywell) panels\\n\\n * \\n\\n Working on a variety of rail sites, including stations, platforms, and concourses\\n\\n * \\n\\n Programming, testing, and verifying system functionality to the required standards\\n\\n * \\n\\n Completing accurate commissioning documentation and handover packs\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensuring full compliance with BS 5839 and rail safety protocols\\n\\n * \\n\\n Collaborating with project teams, safety managers, and site supervisors\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven commissioning experience with Notifier systems (e.g., ID3000, Pearl)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous work on rail or large infrastructure projects\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card – Essential\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable working night shifts in live operational environments\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong documentation, fault-finding, and communication skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n ECS card and relevant fire alarm qualifications (FIA units preferred)\\n\\nContract Details:\\n\\n * \\n\\n £375 per day + night uplift\\n\\n * \\n\\n Immediate start available\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ongoing work across Central London\\n\\n * \\n\\n Expenses negotiable depending on scope and experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Join a supportive and experienced project management team\\n\\nIf you’re a skilled commissioning engineer with rail experience and availability for night shifts, we’d love to hear from you.
