This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a new role at Sandwell College, providing proactive and professional support to the newly appointed CEO & Principal and her senior team. Key Responsibilities

  • To provide effective and efficient PA support to the CEO & Principal and to have oversight to the delivery of the Executive support service.
  • Build and maintain relationships and liaise effectively with the College’s internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the SLT.
  • Lead in the preparation and production of detailed presentations, correspondence, reports and a range of other documents required by the senior team.

  • The ideal candidate will thrive in leading others and in delivering excellent levels of support at a senior level.
  • They will have the skills and experience to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload, while supporting key projects and activities that underpin the work of our Principal and her team.
  • Proven experience supporting C-level or senior executives in complex organisations.
  • Experience or aptitude for line management and staff development.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and digital systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to liaise confidently and diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, with strong judgement and forward-planning skills.
  • Experience in education or similarly complex environments.
  • Track record of enhancing admin or executive support services.
  • Experience planning meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Skilled in preparing reports, presentations, and tracking actions.
  • Resilience and composure in challenging or fast-changing scenarios.
