Working within the Community Learning & Development team you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of CLD services as part of the Community Learning and Development Service, with a focus on community-based Gaelic services.
Your role will be to support the delivery of Gaelic language classes for adult learners in line with the North Lanarkshire Gaelic language plan, and CLD funding agreement.
An enthusiasm for the language and culture plus previous experience of delivering Gaelic classes is desirable (this can be in a voluntary capacity), although support and resources will be provided. The department is currently using the Speak Gaelic resource suite for delivery.
Fluency in the Scottish Gaelic language is essential.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a wider team to deliver Gaelic language lessons.
A relevant qualification of SCQF level 5 and above is essential.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.
