Facade Manager - High Value Building Envelope

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Façade Manager

Project – Bespoke Commercial Envelopes

Job Location – West Yorkshire (Weekly Travel)

Salary – £50K – £60K b.o.e

About the Company

Industry leading Main Contractor who specialises in unique projects across UK Tier 1 Cities.

The Façade Manager will be responsible for running packages valued p to £10M.

This façade manager will have experience delivering Facade/Envelope packages for bespoke buildings/ design and build projects.

The Role

• Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet client standards
• Provide Technical support to the Project Team and host weekly meetings to update on progress
• Manage the successful installation and delivery of the whole building envelope
• Co-ordination of the supply chain procurement process
• Assist with build ability issues and value engineering related to the external envelope.
• Manage meetings with the design team and specialist contractors
• Oversee the relevant Site Managers driving the on-site delivery
• Maintain a continuous focus on Health & Safety and Quality Assurance
• Deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant Trades Qualification
• Strong Engineering / Trades / Building Background
• Demonstrable record of successfully delivering Commercial Façade Envelopes valued £3M+
• Experience of planning and monitoring technical project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints
• Experience with Rainscreen, Cladding, Curtain walling, Facades and Roofing systems
• IT and standard industry software skills
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
• Experience of managing and developing a team
