INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for a Façade Manager for bespoke commercial envelopes in West Yorkshire (weekly travel). Salary is £50K - £60K b.o.e.
About the Company: Industry leading Main Contractor who specialises in unique projects across UK Tier 1 Cities.
The Role:
- Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet client standards.
- Provide technical support to the project team and host weekly meetings to update on progress.
- Manage the successful installation and delivery of the whole building envelope.
- Co-ordinate the supply chain procurement process.
- Assist with buildability issues and value engineering related to the external envelope.
- Manage meetings with the design team and specialist contractors.
- Oversee the relevant site managers driving the on-site delivery.
- Maintain a continuous focus on health & safety and quality assurance.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant trades qualification.
- Strong engineering/trades/building background.
- Demonstrable record of successfully delivering commercial façade envelopes valued £3M+.
- Experience of planning and monitoring technical project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints.
- Experience with rainscreen, cladding, curtain walling, façades and roofing systems.
- IT and standard industry software skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
- Experience of managing and developing a team.
