Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – East Kilbride

Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 (dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent, full‑time.

Role Overview

An experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst is needed to join the East Kilbride team. This mixed role involves both site‑based asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264.
• Carry out air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling.
• Produce accurate and detailed survey and analytical reports.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure all works comply with current HSE guidance, legislation, and UKAS procedures.
• Maintain high technical standards and contribute positively to team development.

Requirements

• BOHS P402, P403, and P404 (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in both asbestos surveying and analytical duties within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
