The Bevan Brittan Housing Management team has experienced significant growth over the last couple of years and is now one of the largest housing management practices in the country. Our track record of delivering high quality advice means that growth is set to continue, with a number of major tender wins adding to an already impressive list of clients based across the country. We are looking to further expand and a vacancy has arisen for an Associate (4-7 PQE) to join the team in any one of our regional offices (with flexible hybrid working).

The role will involve advising social landlords (and other landlords) on a wide range of housing management issues, including:

  • Cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Breach of tenancy claims
  • Possession claims
  • Access injunctions for gas and electricity safety
  • Failed succession cases
  • Leasehold management advice

We advise a considerable number of registered providers, ranging from many of the top ten largest providers in the country to smaller, specialist providers and everything in between. Whilst the majority of our work is for housing associations, we also increasingly provide housing management services to a range of other types of organisation including local authorities, care providers, the NHS, universities and charities.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Previous experience of working for social landlords is essential, with experience of acting for housing associations being desirable.
  • We would be particularly interested to hear from anyone with experience in Welsh housing law.
