Are you a culinary visionary with a passion for excellence? Everton Stadium is seeking a Casual Head Chef to lead one of our 13 Premium Dining outlets. This role is pivotal in delivering top-tier dining experiences, from A la Carte restaurants to private dining and event catering.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of casual chefs, ensuring top-notch training and motivation. Develop training programs to equip staff with exceptional service skills. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage talent development. Foster a high level of team energy and engagement focused on great food and hospitality.
- Innovate Menus: Collaborate with the Premium Head Chef, Culinary Director, and Stadia Executive Chef to continually develop exciting, high-quality dishes. Implement continuous product development and drive innovation. Ensure the nutritional philosophy is present across all sites, focusing on new food trends.
- Health & Safety: Maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and UK law. Regularly check fridge/freezer temperatures, food probing, and hot holding. Manage stock, including ordering, usage, wastage, and waste recording. Produce standard operating procedures for all menu dishes, including allergens.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent, exceptional food quality and service. Manage day-to-day delivery of premium restaurants across the stadium. Drive guest-focused culture through in-depth knowledge of hospitality standards. Manage procurement systems and invoice recording. Responsible for staffing planners, weekly labour schedules, and budget alignment.
- Guest Focus: Foster a guest-centric culture with outstanding hospitality. Continuously seek feedback and make improvements to enhance the guest experience. Ensure effective communication between front and back of house teams.
- Extensive experience in restaurants or A la Carte environments.
