Our client, an independent firm of actuaries and employee benefit consultants, is currently looking for an experienced Pensions Consultant to support in managing relationships with a portfolio of clients, with a focus on DB pensions consulting.

Responsibilities include providing consulting services related to the design and implementation of funding, investment, and contribution strategies for pension schemes. The role involves attending governance/trustee meetings, supporting new business tenders, and supervising junior consultants.

Candidates should have previous pensions experience in consultancy or administration, with good commercial awareness. Experience with both DB (defined benefit) and DC (defined contribution) schemes is preferred, though specialisation in one is acceptable. The ideal candidate is personable, aspirational, and client-focused.
