Three Counties Veterinary Emergencies, based at Coombefield Veterinary Hospital, Axminster is looking to recruit an extra vet for each weekend to add to our existing weekend day team.

Rate of pay: £30-35 per hour depending on experience. 22 hours per weekend. We can be flexible to the frequency of weekends worked. Holiday entitlement is paid as it accrues, as it is deemed that holiday will not be taken from shifts.

This role will consist of taking handover from the night team who finish at 8am, followed by a mixture of consultations and procedures that are presented during the course of the weekend. The two weekend day veterinary surgeons will together be responsible for the in-patients along with any patients that present, carrying out any investigations or surgery as necessary.
