CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a static site in Knightsbridge. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position is ideal for a Fabric Engineer currently in a similar role who is keen on progression. The company offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000 with potential career advancement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas with safety in mind and protect the building fabric.
- Perform routine fabric plant checks as directed by the Site Manager/Client.
- Carry out special cleaning tasks as directed.
- Perform carpentry works using hand and electric tools.
- Develop good working relationships with staff and clients.
- Maintain and secure fabric storage areas.
- Keep comprehensive fabric maintenance records.
- Undertake routine weekly checks as per site logbooks.
- Manage stock loading, unloading, and storage safely.
- Complete reactive tasks to meet SLAs.
- Perform repairs such as tiles, wall repairs, locks, door furniture, door hanging, architrave, plinths, floors, ceilings, painting, and decorating.
- Report defects and carry out major/minor repairs, documenting as required.
- Liaise with the Client to minimise inconvenience.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as directed.
Technical Requirements
- Conduct fabric inspections to standards provided.
- Handle chemicals, paints, adhesives safely.
- Perform sanitation and sewage tasks if needed.
Desirable Criteria
- Qualified to C&G or NVQ Level 1 and 2 in trades such as Carpentry or Painting & Decorating.
