Base pay range

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our brand new nursery opening in July 2025.

Your primary focus will be on supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our own curriculum.
• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Observe, assess and record children\’s progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
• Uphold nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations

Requirements

Qualifications and skills required:

• Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is desired.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Enhanced DBS check clearance is required
