Are you a skilled and proactive Fabric Engineer with a knack for keeping buildings in top-notch condition? We are seeking a dedicated Fabric Engineer to be an integral part of our on-site maintenance team. You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the building's fabric, ensuring a high standard of presentation and functionality throughout our modern office space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular inspections of the building's fabric, identifying and rectifying any defects or maintenance needs proactively.
- Basic plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, unblocking drains).
- Carpentry work (e.g., door adjustments, minor repairs to furniture and fixtures).
- Painting and decorating (touch-ups, minor repainting).
- Floor repairs (e.g., replacing tiles, fixing carpet issues).
- Ceiling repairs (e.g., replacing tiles, fixing minor damage).
- Window and door maintenance (e.g., adjustments, minor repairs to ironmongery).
- General building repairs and upkeep.
- Responding promptly and efficiently to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any significant issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or similar role, ideally within a commercial building environment.
