Are you a Design Manager or Senior Designer within the Façade, Cladding or Roofing industry? Are you looking for a step-up into a management position within a rapidly expanding specialist in their field, who give you full autonomy to lead a team and the opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects with key clients?

On offer is the opportunity to join a longstanding family business, who specialise in major projects within the construction industry, who have just gained major contracts to ensure workflow and growth over the next 5 years. This company focuses on their people, has a great working environment and gives you the ability to manage design projects from conception to completion.

This varied and autonomous role will see you oversee projects from early engagement to construction with a supportive team around you. You will lead and mentor a team of Junior Designers to draw, create and model innovative designs within clients' budgets and you will be responsible for reporting to the board and building relationships with suppliers to maintain quality. This role requires you to use AutoCAD and Revit software.

This role would suit a Design Manager or Senior Designer from the Façade, Cladding or Roofing industry, looking for a step up into team leadership, to manage junior designers, assist on the design of high-value projects and have the opportunity to progress within the business.

The Role:
  • Manage Design projects from cradle to grave.
  • Use AutoCAD and Revit to create, draw and model innovative designs.
  • Management of Junior Designers.
  • Report to senior management/clients on timescales and costings.
  • Create technical documents, design validation and risk analysis.
The Person:
  • Background in Façade / Roofing industry.
  • Senior Designer or Design Manager.
  • Background in AutoCAD / Revit.
  • Commutable to Bristol.
