My client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic, PE-backed business and collaborate with operational leaders to drive measurable success. About the Role
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with operational and senior stakeholders to deliver insightful financial guidance and ensure the business is equipped to make informed, strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Connect operational understanding with financial impact to enhance decision-making
- Collaborate with budget holders to identify under-performance early and address swiftly
- Partner with senior operational business partners to deliver initiatives that boost profitability
- Develop a deep understanding of the cost-base and spearhead opportunities for improved efficiency
- Take full ownership of the month-end process for sites, ensuring management accounts are prepared accurately, insightfully, and within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a clear and accurate understanding of the Balance Sheet and its impact on cash flow.
- Continuously improve the efficiency of month-end processes by identifying opportunities
- Own the budget and forecast process for partnered teams
- Empower budget holders to take ownership of their financial outcomes
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, mitigating challenges while capitalising on potential gains.
- Lead by example within the finance team; have a can-do attitude, work collaboratively, show natural curiosity and a desire to problem-solve
- Own the P&L for partnered teams while driving best-practice across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial finance, management accounting and financial planning
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced excel
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Accounting qualification

- Experience in a PE-backed business
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
