Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be partnered with a leading blue-chip manufacturing organisation, in the search and selection of a Buyer - Outsourcing & Finished Goods, within their developing and transitioning Procurement function.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join the procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and outsourcing, effectively managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality and cost-effective procurement solutions for outsourced manufactured goods by 3rd parties.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
- Analyse market trends and forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and supplier relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement and buying, with a focus on outsourcing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
