Specialist Customer Service Advisor (Adult Social Care)

We\’re Hiring: Specialist Customer Service Advisors – Adult Social Care Location: Remote (with monthly office attendance in Bedworth) Salary: £14.36 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (09:00-17:00, 16:30 finish on Fridays) Start Date: 7th July 2025 Contract: Temporary to permanent About the Role We are excited to offer opportunities for Specialist Customer Service Advisors to join the Adult Social Care service within the Supporting People Team at Warwickshire County Council. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for vulnerable adults and their families, providing high-quality, responsive support. Your responsibilities will include offering accurate information and advice, signposting to appropriate services, and initial problem-solving — all with empathy and professionalism. What You\’ll Be Doing Delivering a county-wide Adult Social Care service as part of a collaborative, supportive team Responding to enquiries from the public, internal departments, and external agencies Assessing needs, identifying risks, and escalating where necessary Using multiple digital systems (Firmstep, Five9, Microsoft applications) to log and manage interactions Ensuring each individual feels heard, respected, and supported What We\’re Looking For Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs Empathy, maturity, and resilience when supporting people in sometimes distressing circumstances Strong problem-solving ability and a genuine curiosity to understand how people can be supported Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Willingness to seek help when needed and to contribute positively to the wider team About Us As a Pertemps Recruitment Partnership Ltd flexible employee, you\’ll work with one of the UK\’s most respected independent recruitment agencies.
