  • Act as a practising BA: contribute directly to larger, strategic programmes and high-priority initiatives.
  • Own and improve Business Process Management (BPM) standards and frameworks across the business.
  • Evaluate current BA team capabilities, identify skill gaps and weaknesses, and implement development and improvement plans.
  • Establish consistent, best-practice methodologies and processes to ensure high-quality BA outputs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as the central point for BA governance, tools, and frameworks, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, programme managers, and Business Architects to align business analysis with wider strategic goals.
  • Act as the delivery centre for Business Architects, supporting business change initiatives with robust BA discipline.
  • Lead the development and promotion of BA standards, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior or lead BA role, with line management and team development responsibilities.
  • A hands-on Business Analyst, comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • Strong background in Business Process Management and driving process optimisation.
  • Ability to critically assess BA performance and implement structured development programmes.
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership and programme delivery teams.
  • Deep understanding of BA methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Inspirational leadership style with a passion for building and nurturing teams.
  • Previous experience supporting or working alongside Business Architects is a strong advantage.
