Senior Geomatics Surveyor

OEG\’s subsea services division has an open job vacancy for a Senior Geomatics Surveyor to join our growing survey team. Full time (12 month fixed term contract) Location: Salisbury, UK Responsible to: Geomatics Director Company overview OEG is a leading energy solutions business, providing mission-critical infrastructure assets and services to the global offshore energy industry. Key responsibilities Lead geomatics survey operations including data acquisition, processing, and reporting, in compliance with GEOSIGHT standards and industry regulations. Assist with technical queries from clients and team members, providing remote support when necessary. Develop and compile survey procedures and innovate new techniques. Collaborate with a team of technical specialists and liaise with clients to deliver tenders and results in appropriate formats. Support project delivery to ensure completion on time and within budget, contributing to survey strategies for current and future projects. Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Conduct complex fieldwork on vessels worldwide, managing geomatics and dimensional control data acquisition and processing. Assist with QA processes for geomatics projects. Maintain up-to-date project information using ASANA software. QHSE responsibilities Understand and promote OEG’s QHSE policies, aiming for a proactive safety culture, environmental sustainability, and quality assurance. Skills and experiences Proficiency in land surveying procedures and equipment (Total Station, GNSS, Laser Scanner). Knowledge of hydrographic sensors (MBES, GNSS, USBL, MRU, IMU, INS). Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar geomatics survey role.
