We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position involves overseeing compliance management processes, must be experienced in 9001 & 27001 as a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established policies and regulations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and ensure that the organisation adapts its practices accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters to promote a culture of compliance within the organisation.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and understanding of compliance obligations.
- Investigate compliance breaches or concerns and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in compliance management.
- Must be experienced in 9001 & 27001 as a minimum.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and internal audit processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Professional qualifications in compliance or related areas would be advantageous but are not essential.
