My client is a well-established supplier of professional coating products and services, looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the East Anglia region, Milton Keynes, and Luton. As the new Business Development Manager, you'll focus on winning new customers, working from home, and managing your own diary with occasional visits to the Head Office near Portsmouth when convenient.

Base salary ranges from £44,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, with uncapped commission and realistic OTE earnings of £80,000. Company car, private health insurance, laptop, and mobile phone are included.

In your role as Business Development Manager, you'll:

  • Find and win new business in your region, primarily in the automotive industrial refinishing sector.
  • Contact potential customers, arrange meetings, and explain products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Track sales activities and customer meetings.
  • Share insights about competitors and market trends with internal teams.
  • Support account handover to the account management team.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in manufacturing or a technical sales role.
  • A strong track record of winning new customers.
  • Confidence working independently and managing your territory.
