Mobile Recruitment Consultant Specialising within iOS / Android / React Native & Flutter Role Overview I have just teamed up with a fast-growing startup who are looking to hire a Senior Mobile Engineer and drive the evolution of their mobile application. In this role, you’ll own the mobile development process, using our standout features to enhance scalability and innovation. You’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic team in a fun environment, ensuring that every new feature and update sets the bar for excellence. Key Responsibilities Own Mobile Development: Architect, develop, and refine our first mobile application using React Native, ensuring a high-quality, seamless user experience. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend/web engineers to deliver a cohesive, engaging experience across platforms. Design & Implement: Develop robust app architectures and complex user interfaces that can scale as our user base grows. Optimize Performance: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the mobile app. Elevate Engineering Standards: Set development standards, proactively identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements in code quality, organization, and automation. Innovate: Contribute technical insights and creative solutions as you help define, design, and ship new features. Qualifications Proven experience leading mobile app development projects. 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, preferably React Native. Expertise in React Native, with a strong grasp of both iOS and Android ecosystems. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices. Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and building eCommerce marketplaces. Ability to move fast and iterate quickly in a startup environment while maintaining high code quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
