Job Title: BEM Launch Engineer Location: Wolverhampton (full time onsite) Rate: £29.47ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £22.00ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until March 2026) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week Reference: J35959261 Job Description Manufacturing Industrial Optimization Engineering focuses on optimizing the interconnected components of a manufacturing system (e.g., plant location, personnel work flow/ergonomics, materials logistics, production process sequence, and equipment layouts, etc.) including: Establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel Conducting cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods Assisting manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design Responsibilities Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Typical Title: Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Methods & Systems Engineer Skills Required: Problem solving Manufacturing process knowledge HV Battery knowledge Experience Required: Relevant OR previous experience of Launch in Manufacturing; working knowledge of quality tools and processes.
