About the Job
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio within a collaborative team. You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, statutory reporting, and supporting regulatory compliance, while also contributing to the development of junior colleagues.
Duties will include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Completing monthly reconciliations and preparing journals
- Compiling management account packs, including narrative commentary
- Preparing VAT returns and financial statements for a range of legal entities
- Assisting with FCA regulatory returns and PAYE/benefits reporting
- Liaising with auditors and coordinating audit documentation
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Engaging with clients both virtually and in-person
About the Successful Applicant
You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role with a strong grasp of management accounts and statutory reporting. Either part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA), you should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, good Excel proficiency, and a proactive, client-focused attitude. Experience with systems such as Xero or Workday would be beneficial but not essential.
