This part-time (20 hours per week, 09:00-13:00 Mon-Fri or similar) FTC position is a member of the Product Development Team. The role is specifically responsible for maintaining the blood donor databases and blood requirements to support Revvity’s Product Development, Quality Control activities, and wider blood-related initiatives.
Overall responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Product Development and other departments to support various projects within Oxford Immunotec.
- Coordinate and maintain all database activities and blood requirements supporting T-SPOT.TB, T-Cell Select, and other T-SPOT related products.
- Serve as the company's phlebotomist, arranging and attending external and internal blood draws.
- Coordinate with different groups and companies in the UK and US, including Technical Support, Clinical, Product Development, and blood donation organizations.
- Sourcing blood from external vendors and other areas as needed.
- Ensure compliance with lab protocols and regulations.
Specific deliverables:
- Manage databases and clinical information for Oxford Immunotec's Product Development Team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Fulfill blood requirements efficiently and on schedule.
- Collect blood from donors, record, and store donations according to SOPs.
- Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with blood donation groups and departments.
- Collect and enter data for pre-clinical studies and other teams as required, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Maintain stock levels and manage ordering as needed.
