About the company: I am currently recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy specialist, based in Banbury, who are seeking an Interim Quality Manager to join their team.
Job Description:
- Lead and develop a small team of Quality Engineers, through the full product development lifecycle.
- Manage and execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes ensuring timely delivery.
- Act as the central Point of Contact (PoC) for all quality activities within the development programme.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, to ensure quality requirements are embedded and met.
- Drive design for quality principles into the product development process, to mitigate risk.
- Support DFMEA and PFMEA activities, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications / Skills needed:
- Bachelors' Degree, in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in a quality leadership role, within a product development environment.
- Strong knowledge and application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
- Experience delivering products, from concept to SOP and beyond.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, without direct authority.
