Role Description:

  • Over 8 years of progressive experience in platform engineering and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on building scalable, resilient infrastructure and automation.
  • Proven leadership in designing and maintaining Kubernetes-based platform solutions, with deep hands-on expertise in cluster orchestration, performance tuning, and team guidance.
  • Extensive knowledge of Docker, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins), enabling seamless application delivery and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
  • Proficient in architecting and supporting solutions on cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Skilled in version control using Git, including advanced Git workflows; experienced with build tools like Maven and NPM for dependency and artifact management.
  • Experience implementing service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) and advanced container networking tools like Calico for secure and efficient service communication.
  • Strong scripting and automation background using Linux shell scripting and Python, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual overhead.
  • Exposure to mobile CI/CD pipelines for both Android and iOS, contributing to a unified delivery platform across frontend and backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience in WebSphere Application Server administration, covering installation, configuration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with an analytical and systems-thinking approach to resolving complex platform issues.
