Are you a dynamic HSEQ professional with a passion for driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across diverse projects? We’re seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join a leading organisation at the forefront of energy and infrastructure innovation.

The Role:

Supporting the Group Head of HSEQ, you will:

  • Health: Champion and implement health and wellbeing strategies across offices and projects. Deliver focused training and coaching to employees and contractors. Ensure health considerations are integrated into project design and engineering phases.
  • Safety: Provide expert advice on safety matters, ensuring compliance with HSEQ policies and IMS requirements. Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections. Lead incident investigations and assist in the development of project-specific HSEQ charters.
  • Environment: Promote sustainability principles aligned with organizational goals. Conduct environmental audits and ensure continuous improvement actions. Support projects in developing aspects and impacts assessments.
  • Quality: Drive awareness and compliance with ISO9001 standards. Ensure robust quality assurance through project-specific ITPs and lessons learned initiatives.
  • Contractor and Supply Chain Development: Lead HSEQ reviews and due diligence for contractors and suppliers. Foster collaboration through supply chain forums and performance monitoring.

About You:

You will have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a construction-based HSEQ role, ideally within the power or utilities sectors. Demonstrated experience with BBS programs, ISO standards, and incident investigations.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong problem-solving, auditing, and communication skills. Ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential) Lead/Internal Auditor qualification for ISO45001/14001/9001 (desirable).
