We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a confident and well-organised Part-Time Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your credit control experience to a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and recover outstanding debts from both commercial and domestic customers
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments
- Investigate and resolve billing and payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and transactions
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve account issues
- Prepare reports on aged debt and debtor status
- Support the finance team with additional administrative tasks as required
Experience Required
- Experience in credit control or accounts receivable is desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage)
