JOB- Area Sales Manager \\n\\n LOCATION- Midlands \\n\\n TERM- Permanent\\n\\n SALARY- Β£38,000 β Β£42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\\n\\n PACKAGE β Commission, Company Car, Healthcare\\n\\n My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector and they are looking to take on an Area Sales Manager, on a permanent basis, to cover the Midlands area.\\n\\n The Area Sales Manager will ideally have the following attributes:\\n\\nPrevious experience working in a Sales (Technical, Internal, Key Account, Field) role or similar in the engineering industry ideally\\nHave a good understanding of the wholesale distribution model\\nPrevious experience selling POS / electrical products through wholesale channelβs would be preferred\\nAn appreciation of wholesaler buying groups would be beneficial such as AWEBB, ANEW etc.\\nQualification in Electrical Engineering or similar (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) would be desirable but itβs not essential\\nHave worked with a CRM system before\\nFull UK Driving Licence is essential\\nHave excellent communication skills both verbal and written\\nBe self-motivated and have a positive attitude to develop business and Accounts\\nBe keen to develop with the company long term β there are progression opportunities tooThe Area Sales Manager role will involve:\\n\\nTaking responsibility for a designated territory looking to develop the existing accounts further\\nSelling point of sale electrical components through wholesalers\\nAccount development and relationship management\\nAlways looking to drive revenue growth\\nManaging your own diary β 1-day WFH and then out on the road for the rest of the week visiting customer sites\\nAchieving and exceeding sales targets that are set on a monthly and yearly basis\\nWorking with the internal technical support and product management teams to ensure customer satisfaction\\nReporting on the CRM system, providing sales forecasts and looking at market trends\\nDelivering product training to wholesale partners to help them with selling\\nIdentifying new business opportunities within the territory tooIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
