Data Scientist/ Bioinformation – outside IR35 – 6 months – Remote UK – £560 a day Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data scientist/ bioinformation to work remotely for my client, with a daily rate of £560 a day outside IR35 initially for 6 months. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s and advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, or a related field with a strong academic record. Technical Expertise Strong problem-solving skills in bioinformatics and data science. Extensive experience in biomarker development and clinical trial data analysis. Proficiency in statistical methods (e.g., survival analysis) and machine learning techniques (e.g., Random Forest, Gradient Boosting). Expertise in Python and SQL (required), familiarity with Nextflow for scalable pipeline development. Experience in developing workflows for automated data analysis. Strong data wrangling and integration skills. This is a great project working on a platform that integrates data, develops advanced analytics, stores biomedical knowledge, and delivers insights through AI-driven tools and intuitive visualizations.
